Who am I?

I am a well qualified, experienced integrative therapist, and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). In my work I am bound by the BACP ethical code of conduct.

I work with clients, through the therapeutic relationship, to help them:

  • explore aspects of life that are difficult or challenging.
  • understand negative or troubling patterns of thought, feelings and behaviour, which may relate to difficult childhood experiences.
  • find new perspectives and increase self-compassion.
  • take back positive control of their life.

I work with adults, 18 years and above, individuals and couples, and with a wide range of presenting problems. These include, but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, survivors of abuse, trauma victims, bereavement, relationship difficulties, OCD and the impact of major illness (eg cancer).

As well as working in private practice, I work as a volunteer therapist at a low cost agency in London.

My previous working life included positions in research and in management. Additionally I have been a volunteer, and a trustee, at various charities.
